It’s going strong with great community support., Participated in the Hollins Signature Internship Program, I spent my 30th birthday riding a camel in Petra (Jordan)., Studied Abroad in London, Has worked in local government for almost 20 years, Lived in Italy, I was a headhunter for 17 years, I have published books and many scientific articles as part of my career as a professor and researcher, I live in Lancaster, PA, home of the Amish., I never climbed Tinker Mountain., I started a non profit, Played the harp growing up - and considered bringing my harp to Hollins!, I drove the second sports van my last two years at Hollins, I enjoy making my own pasta and serving it with sauce made from tomatoes grown in my garden., Lived in West for two years., Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef for 3 days was one of my favorite experiences., Was involved in SGA, Theater and Athletics at Hollins, Still has dinner with a favorite Hollins professor every year, Got arrested at the Roanoke Airport, I've visited more than 40 countries, I am a realtor, The Seven Sassies all members of the class of 1968, gather each year for an hilariously good time., A Hollins alumna helped me find my first job in Seattle when I graduated from Hollins!, I failed my first class ever at Hollins., I was on the judicial board, I've been to 12 countries on the African continent, I took a llama trekking trip up the highest mountain in VA with the HOP office, Freshman year at Hollins, I had the opportunity to visit Russia, the country in which my grandfather was born., Served as SGA President, My love of cooking started with Sunday dinners for our apartment senior year at Hollins., Participated in Tinker Day and Ring Night all four years at Hollins!, Has been to Scotland 3 times, recently for over 2 weeks, Have two middle names that are "very Virginia"., Appeared in the Lands End catalog wearing a Hollins sweatshirt, I was Layout Editor of the Hollins Columns newspaper, Two of my best friends I met in 1964 when we were assigned as freshman to East dorm which then was a very odd place to live, My secret dream job would be to write an advice column., My college roommates taught me how to drive., I was the external Chair for the BSA, I've never broken a bone, I worked the “graveyard” shift at the Crisis Counseling Center while a student at Hollins. and Worked at three art museums.
