Soldiers marched on the capitol until eventually they were driven out with tear gas., Repealed the 18th Amendment, Prohibition., Upheld an Oregon law limiting the workday for female wage earners to 10 hours which limited the economic mobility of women during the 1900s as they couldn’t earn as much money as they were able to., Taft’s foreign policy to ensure the economic stability of a region while protecting and extending U.S. commercial and financial interests there. and Wilson allowed all countries in Latin America to choose their own form of government, however, he would only allow them to be democratic, which undermined the promise of self-determination.
