(phone reminder), "let's make some progress on those chapter questions", "alrighty, folks.", emphasizes words with his hands, forgets to hang the canadian flag. "I'll get around to it.", "that bell's gonna go any second now, but before you fine folks get up...", "let's bust out those notepads and laptops", puts whiteboard markers into his pocket while teaching, looks intensely at his watch, "let's keep our eye on the ball for these due dates.", pauses a film or video to explain things, tells the class he went for a run and is not dying, stands at the door while students come into class and "on that note...".
