This bingo card has 25 words: Her mother passed away 3 months after she was born, She made her final vows as a nun sister in 1936, Her tomb is a pilgrimage site which reports many miracles, Many miracles were attributed to her intercession, She is the first canonised saint in the Syro Malabar Church, and the first woman saint in India, She spent many years teaching in schools in Kerala, Pope Benedict XVI said St Alphonsa's life was one of 'extreme physical and spiritual suffering', She was canonised by Pope Benedict XVI on 12 October 2008, She used to lead the family prayer from the age of 5, As a young girl, she was called Annakutty in her family, Her feast day is celebrated on 28 July, the day of her death, She took the name Alphonsa after Saint Alphonsus Liguori, She had a special connection with the Passion of Christ, uniting her suffering to His, Her congregation was known as the Franciscan Clarist Congregation, She often was very ill throughout her life, She died on 28 July 1946, at the age of 36, She had three other siblings in her family, and she was the youngest, Her family wanted her to get married, but she had to persist to pursue her religious calling, She was very close with her grandmother growing up, who was her main religious influence, Her role model throughout her life was St Thérèse of Lisieux, She was cured of one illness through her prayers to Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, When she was a young girl, she burnt her feet in a pit of burning chaff, She was born on 19 August 1910 in Kudamaloor, Arpookara in Kerala, She would always approach all her sufferings with great peace and trust in God and She is buried in St. Mary's SyroMalabar Catholic Church, Bharananganam, Kerala.
