This bingo card has a free space and 24 words: Bought a reservation less than 12 hours before departure, Had 5 transfers in one trip, Had people laugh at you when you told them about your schedule, Forgot to turn the volume down on your alarm waking the other people in your sleeper car who already didn’t like you, Met people who didn’t get on at the same station, but have at least 3 of the same transfers, Shared snacks with other people, Noticed that you and your new friends will miss a connection because of a delay and asking the attendant if they can hold the next train, Got off at a station where less than 3 people were on the other platforms, Needed to ask other people for help at a station only to realize none of them know your native language, Checked bus tickets “just in case”, Were worried that you missed the only connection for hours even though the attendant said they would hold the train, only to learn the connection was also delayed, so you’re fine, Realized you’re still not fine because now you’re going to miss your next connection, Got to the next station and realized the ask was unnecessary because the train you were supposed to get on broke down (?) and now everyone’s waiting for a new train, Talked with other people about their train stories, Came to the consensus that this is still better than DB, Had a train for 7 hours with neither outlets nor WIFI, Felt stupid for thinking you would be able to buy lunch between transfers and that you’ve been spoiled by stations in major cities because you’re lucky if one of these has a kiosk that sells cigarettes and chocolate bars, Had a 7 hour train ride with no dining car, Used both seats to try and lie down to take a nap, Got woken up by the troop leader of whatever Croatian cub scouts are called because they might need your other seat for the 20-30 10 year olds that are now in your train car, Felt relief that none of them need to sit next to you, but then annoyance because you were woken up for literally no reason, Saw you were almost an hour delayed to one station and resigning yourself to the fact that you might not make it to your hostel before check-in closes, Somehow, despite being 20 minutes delayed at the start and almost an hour delayed to every other station, you’re only 10 minutes delayed to your destination, yes, you think to yourself, so much better than DB and Ate kebab for dinner because that’s all that’s open when you arrive.
