I find the Japan based regions to be significantly more generic and boring than later regions, which are more unique in terms of their culture and worldbuilding
Filler episodes in the anime are essential for worldbuilding, even if a lot of them are boring or formulaic
The vast majority of Pokemon designs are at least a 7/10, and most generations are more or less equal in terms of designs

I think Skeledirge and Quaquaval are the best starter designs ever made conceptually. If their execution was a little cleaner, they would be beloved

Leon's ace being a Charizard makes total sense, and is a more unique choice for a champion ace than something like Dragapult

The most blatant cash grabs in the main series are enhanced versions like Emerald, Platinum and USUM
