Students who are tardy to any class more than two times will be assigned to TAP.
Students are expected to listen attentively during family meetings and to applaud appropriately for those being recognized.
Students should check in with their teachers about missed work after being absent.
Snitching is telling on someone to get them in trouble. Asking for help is going to an adult to get support or to make sure someone else gets support.
8th grade students who are assigned to Saturday School will not be eligible for continuation if they do not go to Saturday School.
Students should write what their homework is in their agenda. If there is no homework, students should write that there is no homework.
In the cafeteria, students should brush off crumbs, pick up trash around their area on the table and the floor and then neatly stack their tray.
Jeans with holes and shreds are never a part of Skinner’s dress code.
Students should never leave the classroom without a pass.
Students should raise their hand and wait to be excused at the lunch table.
Students receive CIAs for being caught in the act of doing something over and above normal expectations.
Students should be in after school activities by 3:00 p.m.
Wearing hoodies during the school day is NEVER allowed even on DPS dress code days.
Respectful language is always expected.
Cell phones should be turned off and in student’s lockers.
Students who arrive to class late without a pass will be admitted but counted as unexcused tardy.
Students who bring breakfast and open beverages in the morning should go to the cafeteria to finish those items.
Students should immediately let an adult know if they are concerned that a student is depressed, self-harming or possibly suicidal.
Students may wear Skinner sponsored club shirts on Wednesdays.
Students are expected to follow the directions of any adult in the building, regardless of whether or not they know the person or have that person as a teacher.
Slippers and slip-on footwear are never appropriate at school.
If you see something suspicious, concerning, or disrespectful, you should say something
