A little girl had a dairy allergy and was over the moon when the kitchen said they could make her a dessert as she is usually never able to have one.
A couple came for a late night meal at Hickory's as they had just moved into there new home. They had only managed to set up there beds so the team went to the local shop and put together a goodie bag of coffee/tea and breakfast food.
A couple and their dogs got caught in the rain, as they arrived at one of our restaurants the team got them blankets, hot water and a little heater to get warm as they had there meal.
One of the locals Bernie had, had a fall and was struggling to do his house chores. In particular putting the bins out as his garden door was faulty. The next day one of our team went round to fix the garden door and put Bernie's bin out.
A couple on holiday had walked 10 miles to the restaurant. The team surprised them with a bus pass for the week so they could see the city and save there feet!
A local school in Rhos was holding a summer fair. Chef George whipped up some homemade cookies and chocolate eclairs and donated them to the fair!

A family came in for fathers day. A young boy explained to the server he hadn't been able to do much for his dad on fathers day. The server arranged for them to go on a last minute boat trip on the river to celebrate fathers day.
A little boy was watching one of our chefs hard at work on chefs bar and was asking how he made the food. The kitchen team invited him into the kitchen to make his own waffle.
A regular had been hit by a car and told he would never walk again. As his mobility came back he was going back and fourth to Ukraine to help with medical kits. The team at supplied him with a hickory's at home hamper and a free meal.
A lady's car had broken down and she came in with her new born baby quite distressed asking to use the baby changing. The team got her some fries and a soda on the house and told her she could wait in the restaurant as long as she needed.
A little boy came to a toy story character breakfast and said he was having a toy story birthday party the next day. The team took all the decorations down and dropped them off at the little boys house for his toy story party!
A family had just signed their adoption papers for their little girl. They came to Hickory's for their first family meal out and we treated them to a family pass at Chester zoo.
A family where dining with us for their grandads 60th. However last minute the grandad was in hospital and couldn't make the meal. The family facetimed him at the meal and Hickory's sent him a meal to the hospital so it felt like he was there.
A server found out a family had come in to celebrate there daughters graduation as a teacher. The team got a takeaway bag and filled it with items useful to a teacher (felt tips, stapler ect) and surprised the young girl with it!
