Word Attack Strategies - Call List

(Print) Use this randomly generated list as your call list when playing the game. There is no need to say the BINGO column name. Place some kind of mark (like an X, a checkmark, a dot, tally mark, etc) on each cell as you announce it, to keep track. You can also cut out each item, place them in a bag and pull words from the bag.

1. Cover part of the word and solve one piece at a time.
2. Split the word into syllables and chunk it.
3. Ask yourself, “does this make sense?”
4. Try to make the other sound made by the letters.
5. Is there a prefix?

8. Try to reread the sentence.
