  4. Take a "hike" through book 1. How far can you go playing correctly?
  5. Play a duet either with yourself or another string friend
  6. Record yourself playing. Listen to the recording. Play again fixing anything you can
  7. Pick a song you love and figure out how to play it either by ear or looking up the music online
  8. Pick an instrument of our orchestra and make a drawing/painting/art piece of it
  9. Invite an orchestra/string friend over to practice
  10. Play for 20 minutes or more in one sitting (may not be combined with the 30 minutes)

  12. Teach a family member how to play a scale on your instrument
