Story Book Journey - Call List

(Print) Use this randomly generated list as your call list when playing the game. There is no need to say the BINGO column name. Place some kind of mark (like an X, a checkmark, a dot, tally mark, etc) on each cell as you announce it, to keep track. You can also cut out each item, place them in a bag and pull words from the bag.

  2. On day one of the SBJ you only need to have the bulletin board with the SBJ title and the vocabulary words posted.
  3. Enhancements need to be done to four areas during the month.
  4. ECLC only makes process art, not progress art. You do not have to post every piece of art for every child on every display.
  5. Use the prop chapter of the Storybook Journey by Sue McCord for enhancement ideas.
  6. The first thing you should do after you have picked out a book is READ it!
  7. You should be able to get three to five activities for each idea (concept).
  8. Don't forget the NAEYC vocabulary words are different than the book vocabulary words.
  9. Completely fill out the Questions to Guide Planning form.
  10. Use the full date - mm/dd/yyyy on the lesson plans
  11. A list with summaries and enhancements with age recommendations will be supplied soon.
  12. An exception to using a literacy kit can be made by your C/I Coordinator.
