  10. Listen for instructions from campus security or the fire department.
  11. Inform the Leadership Team of the fire location.
  12. Take attendance once your group reaches the muster point

  14. Record the timeline of when the child was last seen.
  15. Give a clear, calm summary to EMS when they arrive.
  16. Call 911 and contact the Leadership Team immediately
  17. If child is unresponsive or having a seizure, activate Code Blue and begin care.
  18. Stay with your group while other staff assist in the search.
  19. Ensure no one returns to the building for personal belongings.
  20. Check Grouplist to see if the child was signed out for early pickup.
  21. Lead your group calmly to the nearest fire exit —never use the elevator.
  22. After the all-clear is given, calmly return to your program location and re-establish group routine.
  23. Stay with the child while another staff member removes the group if needed.
  24. Do not re-enter the building until the all-clear is given by emergency personnel.
