  6. After the all-clear is given, calmly return to your program location and re-establish group routine.
  7. Check Grouplist to see if the child was signed out for early pickup.
  8. Offer the child space to cool down before continuing the conversation.
  9. Report the behavior, location, and child’s age to the Leadership Team.
  10. Stay with the child while another staff member removes the group if needed.
  11. Lead your group calmly to the nearest fire exit —never use the elevator.
  12. Listen for instructions from campus security or the fire department.
  13. Maintain group order and keep chatter to a minimum once outside.
  14. Do not move the participant; provide first aid and wait for support.
  15. Ensure no one returns to the building for personal belongings.
  16. Leadership will intervene and attempt to resolve the behavior through conversation.
