(Print) Use this randomly generated list as your call list when playing the game. There is no need to say the BINGO column name. Place some kind of mark (like an X, a checkmark, a dot, tally mark, etc) on each cell as you announce it, to keep track. You can also cut out each item, place them in a bag and pull words from the bag.

Heart rate and pulse are used interchangeably. Normal resting heart rate for those over 12 years of age is between 60-100 beats per minute.
Diastolic: the blood pressure when the heart is resting between beats
Normal respiration or (breaths/minute) for >12 years is 12-20
Abnormal vital signs will be flagged by a red exclamation point in EPIC.
All vital signs now show up automatically on the left side of the screen in EPIC for ease of viewing.
Orthostatic hypotension: a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing from a seated or lying down position
Febrile/Pyrexia-Fever usually over 100.4F
Adult BP Normal: less than 120/80
See Something, Say Something
Systolic: the blood pressure when heart is contracting
It is important for clinical staff to know the normal vital sign ranges based on patients' age, height, weight and gender.
Vitals should ALWAYS be documented regardless of whether they are normal or abnormal.
A full set of vital signs includes TEMPERATURE, BP, PULSE, O2 saturation, and RESPIRATORY RATE
Rational for not obtaining vital signs MUST be documented in EPIC under comments in the vitals section.

We will use MAGNETS placed on RIGHT side of door frame to alert provider of abnormal vitals. (Magnets on order)
A person who is uncomfortable with plan or care of patient needs to escalate with ARCC.
Saturation of peripheral oxygen is known as Sp02 with normal levels generally between 95-99%.
Hypotension: low blood pressure
Be sure to document in EPIC that escalation of abnormal vitals occurred by adding a comment next to the abnormal VS.
Hypertension: high blood pressure, when the force of the blood against the arteries is too high
Abnormal vital signs may indicate the need for emergency treatment.
Measuring vital signs can provide important information about the stat of critical body functions
