This bingo card has a free space and 24 words: a unit of pronunciation that has one vowel sound (with or without surrounding consonants), a story, connected events, base-line, "everybody" program, intended to explain or describe something, a type of informal reading inventory, hidden; not plainly stated; implied, all students have the text; text is at grade level, the use of markings to help kids decode; the way something is written, the action or capability of understanding something; the capacity for understanding fully, the auditory processing of sounds; the ability to manipulate sounds, the automaticity at which one reads to support comprehension, say the letter name, the part of a syllable that precedes the vowel of the syllable (anything that comes before the first vowel), breaking words into individual sounds, a sound unit, read left to right, read top to bottom, return sweep, pictures contain meaning, etc., groups of two or three consonants in words that make a distinct consonant sound, an approach to reading that emphasis meaning first, an approach to reading the emphasizes learning phonics first, a combination of two letters representing one sound (ex: ph), the rhythm and rate of how you read; the patterns of stress and intonation in language; reading like you talk, the process of matching one printed word with one oral word; sweeping your finger under the text while reading, sound-letter correspondence and the part of a syllable which consists of a vowel and any consonants that come after it.
