This bingo card has a free space and 35 words: Teacher has AP guidelines and standards posted at front of room for students to check off as they accomplish those goals., Teacher has prizes for students to choose from as they succeed in a vocab quiz game., The teacher had an agenda posted for the day that showed students exactly what they would be doing at what point for the day, including a refletion period!, Distributing the needs for the lesson were done before the period began leading to efficient transitions., The "Dating Game" activity allowed students to ineteract with each other in several ways throughout the lesson., This lesson allowes for students to answer prompts in multiple ways: they gave choral responses, answered prompts on Canvas, and even had "turn and talk" discussions with those around them., The teacher moved around the room while students quietly worked on their assignment. She offered up her suggestions and answered their questions to each individually...this helped students stay on taska nd engaged., The lesson outlined for each student what role they will be fulfilling in their groups and explained how they can be successful in that role., Students working in class were able to make the connection of how what they were doing in Earth/Science can help them understand Global Warming., Choices were given in this lesson where students could "learn best" as stated by the teacher..they could write a diary, make a photo album, or video recording to represent what they know., Students were taking turns creating a timlin eof events they believe led directly to WW2 taking place, they were also shown by the teacher how to research thos events properly and compare that to other student's thoughts as well., Three students were at front of the room explaining their stance on whay Pepsi is better than Coke...they had to back it up with evidence and convince the class why they were correct., Lesson plan outlines steps students have taken in previous class to scaffold and show their preparedness for today's lesson., Students were asked in exit ticket to "Put in your own words why the Industrial Revolution was so important in human history", Rubric was discussed with students and questions were answered to clarify for students how to be successful on this assignment, "It is ok that you missed that problem! Think a little deeper and try again...this is a safe place where we can stumble but keep going!", There was a moment where students were on their phone..teacher stated "hey now! You know we don't use those in here!" The students said "sorry" and put them away for the rest of the period...no instructional time was lost in this quick redirectio, Student exemplary work is posted all throughout the room and it was overheard "I want my work to be up on those walls some day!", A student questioned the teachers accuracy of a statement. They both challenged each other to research it later and reconvene...the teacher admitted to being wrong in the future..student said "it's ok it happens!"
